Each bag is fitted with an enhanced cotton webbing and D-ring system on the back for a multitude of mounting options. This makes the Solo easier to attach to a motorcycle, bicycle, vehicle or wheelchair as a saddle bag and also more compatible with our T-Brace stabiliser.

Once again,I'm loving the quality of construction and materials used. The SMB can be hung off one shoulder, cross bodied, or if you lengthen the stap (easy) can be carried not unlike a knapsack. So versatile, can take all your daily stuff and more, or be used for that quick stop grocery getter. Looking forward to years of use.

It is with a heavy heart that I give this 3 stars. The build quality and materials are top quality and I have no doubt this bag will stand the test of time. In quality and workmanship this is 5 stars. I gave 3 stars however because it's not quite as functional as I would have liked. I've used this bag for about 5 months. Within those months this bag was in and out of multiple times a day, as I kept my journal, notebook, sunglasses, etc in it. It was also by my side during a 2 week cross country move. For me it was meant to carry everything I might want to put in my pockets and also hold some books/notebooks. Now that I am settled and am using this bag more so on occasion (like going antiquing or to a local market/event) I'm still finding it could use some tweaks in order to be much more functional as an alternative to stuffed pockets, while still maintaining it's functionality as a place to put treasures one might find when out exploring the world. Some minor changes to the pocket layout at the front and interior, and in particular the strength of the front pocket button closures would make a big difference in use, at least for the way I'm using it. I'd say if you're torn between this bag and the larger one, get the bigger one. I may end up getting it myself one day.

I have been searching for the perfect light, compact, hard-wearing, heavy-duty, good looking, quality-made CAMERA messenger bag for, I dunno, 20 years? Then I saw the Solo Messenger in the Fremantle store and I knew it was it. It really is. Not only does it look amazing and legit, it is so well made and feels like it will outlive me. I got a quality padded camera insert online, which fitted perfectly, and easily houses my Fujifilm X-T4 with lens attached plus two other lenses and accessories. Check out the photos. It's a full bag but doesn't feel in any way precarious or over full. I wasn't sure about the open top (no zip) but with the buckle straps on the front it feels safe and secure whenever I am walking with the camera packed away. I added an optional Jack Stillman strap to the top (looks the same as the bag) to easily pick up the bag without having to use the shoulder strap. Seriously, I am in love with this bag hah. For a mirrorless setup like a Fuji or Nikon Z or whatever, it is perfect.
