At its core, The Drifter is a utility blanket that converts into a poncho in seconds. Unzip the centre zip, throw it over your head, and you’re wearing it. Use the four brass snaps per side to create sleeves and close the sides for more protection in wind and rain. It rolls down to 33cm x 12cm, so it lives in the car, canopy, camper, or pack.

Waxed canvas is water-repellent by nature — and the best part is you can keep it that way. Re-wax it over its lifetime to refresh water resistance and extend the life of the fabric (especially if it’s been used hard or washed). The 10cm internal “gutter” around the edge helps protect the liner side from mud, dirt and runoff — a small detail that makes a big difference when it’s on the ground.

Waxing canvas is a natural way or protecting the fabric and whoever is under it. The wax finish causes water to bead off instead of soaking into the fibres. Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.
